You know they don't get enough love... all of you know this!

I use a Razer eXactmat (no longer in production), it's made primarily of aluminum and has two difference surfaces. Having a solid mouse mat is awesome.
Protip, do not get a large glass mousepad - Ask Eightball why
I would never get a glass mousemat... I had a glass desk I was always worried I'd break. Now my brother has it.

wish it was smaller as i only use a small portion of it but it's nice
Does this Razer Manticore look similar to the eXactmat? http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mouse-pa...r-manticor

It's closer to the Vespula

Also a hard mat. I've use a vespula before too, and it works quite nice as well.
I have a Mionix Propus 380. It's a hard plastic surface with the right amount of friction, but parts of it a pretty worn down which is annoying. I'd like to find a surface that can give me similar amounts of grip without so much wear.
The "control" side of my eXactmat has not worn down one bit, I would not be surprised if the vespula was similar.

LIKE A MOTHERFLIPPIN BOSS  8)

I bought it (blue) on a whim when I got my G9x.  Not really sure what a fancier pad would do for me.
Wonder how long it will take stolentoast to realize microcenter has image protection on its servers.
I don't really see the benefit of using one. I just use my desk which is a smooth surface and I get by just fine.
I have a SteelSeries QCK+

It's 18x16 inches, never have to worry about running out of space. However my cat keeps sleeping on it.
*looks away shamefully*

i dont use a mousepad
I use one with cats on it that my high school girlfriend gave me 6 years ago. Before that I used one that came with Max Payne 1 for about 5 years.
I use a teardrop-shaped 3M precision mousing surface adhered to my desk.
I also have a Razer Kabuto

my shitty wood desk got wore down by the mouse and now it's not so smooth anymore.
Refinish it, scrub.

[/quote]So you spent more than you did on the desk, on a new mouse mat. Because you ruined the desk. You know who wins on this one? Capitalists.
