Who here likes roguelikes.  What with being busier than usual due to school I tend to play a lot of roguelikes since they're easy to pick up and put down(when you die in a ridiculously unfair manner).  I'm quite fond of Nethack and Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup myself.

Yall might find that amusing, pretty much a case of the worst possible luck when going down a new set of stairs.  Not only two named enemies but a random orc with a random distortion-branded weapon that just happened to succeed on the tiny chance to cast me into the Abyss.  Spoiler alert: if you get thrown into the Abyss at level five you're not making it out alive.
Binding of Isaac... if that counts.

I'd call them roguelike-likes.

Probably more casual than the others, it's got some good humor.

Along those same lines, Spelunky. So good, and the PC version is free.
Steam Marines looks interesting.

Duck, Duck, Goose

I've enjoyed what I've played of Sword of the Stars: The Pit so far.
Risk of rain, it has a free demo.

And terraria because you can make hardcore characters
Just managed to ruin a great Lava Orc Berserker run in DCSS by running into the Enchanted Woods ahead of time. Protip: The Enchanted Woods, contrary to the name, are not a nice place.

Enchanted = usually full of magic
Magic = wizards, warlocks, witches, etc.
This will ruin your day

Pretty much, a spriggan druid introduced me to his pet dire elephant.
Crypt of the Necrodancer is actually really really good.

Color me curious
Reminder that the roguelike-like Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is out tomorrow. I think it's still on the pre-order pricing. Comes with some TF2 hat if you preorder as well for those of you who care.
