after words with scotty and a few posts ive seen around, im stepping down all responsability i have with the tourn;
1) i did very little towards it all anyway apparently
2) im trying to focus on my education atm, i dont have nearlly enough time to plan this stuff
3) im kinda pissed off with some of the comments getting thrown about instead of messaging me privately.
Im offering Ianki full controll of the tourn if he wants it, if not it goes to the people
I will still pay for the prizes at the end
team awesome is being offered to duck if he wants it, if not anyone on the team can step up.

If it wasn't for Ianki we wouldn't even have gotten this far. You made a big stink about starting it, then promptly dropped it except where your own team was concerned. A tournament like this needs someone harping on team captains to get their matches in, not just sit back and watch... well, nothing much happen. All I've seen is lots of captains say their team is ready for a match, but very little of people actually talking to each other to make those matches happen. That's supposed to be your job.
It seems almost nobody cares about the damn thing at all anymore, and it's pretty much become a joke. I'd personally vote for cancelling the whole thing and restarting it properly at a later time. :'(

Good luck Dave! For what it's worth, I don't think you and Ianki could have done a better job with the tourney. I don't think a lot of us appreciate how difficult it really is to get even a small 4v4 coordinated due to lack or organization teamside and conflicting schedules. It's a miracle we even got to the KO rounds. Hopefully when the next tourney rolls around *crosses fingers* we can take the lessons learned from this one and smooth the process out.
