I ended up watching a "Let's Play" video of this and it looks pretty good. Can anyone confirm if it is a buy?
It's good for a few laughs, but I can't really find it game with a lot of replay ability.
I bought this, it's like if Tim Burton remade Harvest Moon with some inspiration from Mine Craft. It ain't perfect but the the developer is still updating it. I think it's worth the asking price and definitely worth a buy if it goes on sale.
I just watched some of an LP, this does look pretty cool. My computer can't handle a "demo" though so I'll be waiting for a while to actually give it a try.
I put in quite a few hours today. It can be really fun, but what bothers me is how difficult it is to get ahead. I seem to put all my effort into gathering necessary resources and don't get many opportunities to actually advance my camp. Recovering health is also incredibly slow and tedious without the right ingredients.
Ok I've figured out how to set up a successful camp and I'm mostly self sufficient. But restoring health is a huge problem. Looks like I need to make a bee farm.

This may sound a bit pretentious, but fuck it, I like the word: You're building an apiary.
kill a spider, feed monster meat to a pigman, make friends, send pigman to kill more spiders and collect more monster meat, ham, and other goodies rinse repeat.
Also always make a garland.
