So I'd really like to get a good game going tonight. I've got some specific harasser tactics I'd like to try out, but we need people. I know there's quite a few of us certed out with harassers. Here's kinda how I'd like it to look: Get a Fury for the gun, make sure to dump at least one level into the expanded mag, and try to have IR for it. Otherwise cert up as you please. Driver at least should be engi, would work better with 2 engis. If we have more people than available gunner chairs, a 2nd engi in rumble seat and tank mines. This person can also try to rep while moving.
General tactics are hit and run. Drivers keep moving just like with the thresher in PS1. I prefer to use the chasis that gives you control and maneuverability. Gunners pickup targets at speed and try to get them as drivers make passes. Tanks can be circled as it's easier for the Harasser gunner to hit at point blank than single tank shells. Especially vs lightnings/no 2nd gunner tanks since trying to drive and gun at the same time really can mess with you. Basically, hit fast and get out before they have time to hit you.
Some things I'd like to do:
Push past the main enemy zerg at a base and pick off straggler vehicles/try to find the AMS. If you find the AMS, rumble seat engi bails as you drive by and takes it down. If they survive we can do a pickup.
If we're about to lose a point and have setup time, mine the logical path and wait for the lead of the zerg and start hit and fade when they reach the mine field.
If we have enough harassers and move fast enough, we should be able to do a lot of damage. Hell, Didzo and I alone did tons of damage. Just remember when you hit 50% health you're already almost dead and should run to rep.
