While I don't work in an office anymore and no longer have someone breathing over my shoulder that I have to hide windows from, I figured I'd share the wonders of this application that can come in portable form.

You can set up shortcuts to just click on a window to hide it from taskbar, system tray, and view, you can hide this application's system tray icon and only interact with it if you press a keyboard shortcut. It also has a default "boss" key which hides the top window AND mutes your sound.
It's very similar to a software I use to use called Watchcat.
ClickyGone I have made work on Windows 7 and Windows 8.
I don't know if there is a similar app for Macs or Linux.
