 All they are doing is setting up a pilot for Ever quest next and using PS2 as such.   Once Eqnext launches,  get ready to feel the spot-light moved off this game completely.

Didn't a lot of long time EQ players shun EQ2 because they didnt want to lose all their progress moving to a new game?

EQ1 is much larger than EQ2 if i recall, like it wasn't a flop, but it wasn't the success that the first one was. I think this new one will have the same issue.

IMHO EvE does it best, they will never release EvE 2, they'll just add more stuff and upgrade the engine. Im really surprised at this point that WoW hasn't had a huge engine overhaul.

i like the new helmets that they are releasing, but good lord 1000 sc or 10 bucks for these things? Hell 5 bucks is still pretty steep and thats after paying 350 sc for a half off weapon
