Full Version: CS:GO Nights?

Hello,

For a few months now I've been playing CS:GO with a lot of you BRBU members. Sometimes we like to organize in-house nights, but it can be a challenge to pull in 10 players on the fly. So, I'd like to pick a regular weekly time for in-house CSGO--that is, a time when BRBU members can play competitive mode in a low-stress environment with only other BRBU members. This way we could get going a bit quicker. We can also play some of the other modes like Arms Race or DM/Demolition.

To participate, all people will need is CS:GO and mumble. Skill level doesn't matter--we'll take players first-come first-serve until there are 10 (or more, if I can figure the configs out). It will probably continue to be done pick-up style.

All we need is a time to pick. The poll above should have a high enough maximum votage so that you can specify which times you are available. I have left out Wednesday and Thursday since I am pretty damn busy on those days (for now), as well as Saturday nights since I know a lot of people like to play PS2 then. Let me know what you guys think.
Okay, so the winner by a decent margin is Tuesday at 8cst. I'd like to start doing that in a couple of weeks, as I have exams coming up now (and the 18th is my girlfriend's birthday), so be ready to play after that. I saw that 3 people did not specify Tuesday 8cst as a possibility--get in touch with me and I'll see if we can set up a second time, since these only take about an hour...
If ever it gets to the point of setting up a server... let me know... because CS:GO Servers are annoying and a bitch to configure properly... luckily I've done it and can help
Glad to get the AWPortunity to destroy in some competitive matches.
Going to start up our first night this upcoming Tuesday, so look forward to that. I will also look into getting one for Sunday afternoons...

Seeing as no one in the community likes any variety, I vote for it taking over whatever wednesdays.

CS: GO doesn't count as variety. It's a game commonly played by members of the community.

Whatever Wednesdays was built so that people would have an opportunity to play anything OTHER than what is commonly played by members of the community, things that wouldn't normally be played. Direct link to the post: http://www.brbuninstalling.com/forum/ind...#msg278861

CS: GO is listed as a "Game not allowed" for whatever wednesday.

So, since Whatever Wednesday isn't getting attendance, I vote that Wednesday become CS: GO nights.
