Hello everyone!
Since it seems like lots of people on here are around the Midwest, I wanted to start a thread for Indy PopCon (website:http://www.indypopcon.com/ and their twitter: @IndyPopCon). This is their first year and it is being organized by some people that I know through work.

Basic info:
When: May 30th - June 1st
Where: Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, IN
What: "Over 150,000 square feet of comics, cosplay, video gaming, internet culture, entertainment, and more!"
They are really shooting to get a broad mix of content and have some pretty awesome guests and artists lined up, including Hodor (well, the actor who plays Hodor on GoT), John DiMaggio (aka the voice of Bender and Jake), and Bad Luck Brian (the actual guy from the meme).
Why:Â Why not?
They just announced that they are going to have a 24-hour gaming hall for both table top games and now a computer/console area sponsored by eBash and Alienware, and there will be a CoD Ghosts tournament (eBash).
If anyone has questions, let me know! I live downtown Indy and will definitely be going to this. Downtown Indy is very centralized and highly walkable, so even if you find that the con is a bust, there is still lots to do!
Feel free to reply with anything that you think will be more interesting to everyone else, I haven't been around here too long, so I don't know everyone's tastes yet. I will post here if there are any more updates that I find interesting, in particular 8)
