What is WildStar?

Wildstar pre-order, also played in the latest beta. Was fun, can get out some stuff from there game here:

I do love there sense of humor and yes it does continue inside the game. You will be pleasantly surprised when you level up.
Haven't picked a server, or side yet. Will post info once I have it locked down.
Anyone else interested in playing this?
Me and some friends/family I know have already preordered and have been having a blast every weekend the beta was up. We are going to be playing on the pvp server, I don't remember the name, as Dominion if that influences your decision any.
I used to play PvP serves for games in the past but this seems not as focused at pvp. Along with battle plots I think world pvp may not be a big thing.
It comes out on my birthday... not sure how to feel about it though, I'm not a huge fan of subscription fees. Every time I bought one in EVE, I stopped playing after a week. Then when I want to play again, oh gee, gotta buy more time.Â
I'm sure that Didzo will play... as long as there's hats...
It does look entertaining.
As of right now no clue on server names as they are withholding them until 24-72 hours before early start. They want to ensure they have least ammount of servers to make them populated.
I will be rolling a warrior and I believe Doomhound will be rolling a Medic.
Looks nice. I'll hold off for a month or so to make sure this has staying power, but I could definitely see myself buying this.
My problem is the way they decided to do their payment plan. Either $15 a month (which is hard to do at $8.50 an hour, part time) or you can buy time from players with in game currency, meaning that if you cant earn enough gold in game to purchase the ridiculously overpriced in game time, you've just dumped another $15 into the game. If they had a lifetime subscription price or maybe like...an anual fee instead of monthly, I would consider dumping essentially $60 onto this game, because when I did play it I did have fun. Just not enough to justify their payment plan. Guild Wars 2 at least had you pay once, and then if you want, spend money on in game aesthetics that don't affect the game. I dont have to worry about $15 a month.
I'll be rolling engie for dominion, medic for w/e and anything else that piques my interest.

+1 and also why Guild Wars is still, after all these years, my favorite MMORPG.
Even the first game, you bought it once (well, once per campaign, there were 2 stand-alone expansions and one true expansion), and this was back when WoW was just barely reaching its prime.
It's fucking stupid too, since NCSoft published both of them and is publishing Wildstar... guess they only want half of my money. *shrugs*

I am still waiting for GW2 to bring out a big expansion for like $20, instead of these monthly content updates that I feel dont add anything at all interesting to the core game. I would buy it. I'll see how wildstar does, maybe I'll get it if I can get it for cheap, play it for the free month, and then see if I want to dish out $15 for an extra month.
So this is on sale on GreenmanGaming, I caved and bought it. I'll be playing on Pergo with the Goons at launch. I'm thinking a Stalker for max PVP fuckery.

Seems several sources(
Cougar from wildstar) are making widow the unofficial oceanic and RP server so I will definitely avoid that one.
As of right now most likely pick Prego as a dominion. Still toying with a class to play, but definitely not engi or stalker.
I will not be doing a PvP server if I do get this game, just a heads up.
