Guns of Icarus online is currently a steampunk style airship team-based arena shooter. Each airship is run by a crew of four players and is on one of two teams. There are different classes of ships with different layouts, weapon capabilities, and stats like speed and maneuverability. There are three player classes each with a different role in running the ship: pilot, gunner, and engineer.

Anyway I saw some videos online and it seems like it would be a cool game to play with BRBU. It's going for $3.75 on Steam right now so if enough people think it looks interest/have it we could try running it for FNF (yeah I know that phrase is practically defunct now).
FNF can rise again with the right captain.
This actually looks really fun. Bought it.
I own it and play every now and then. Fun stuff for a group that talks to each other.

Also, side note it's in todays bundle for a $4+ donation.

Cheese and I played for a few hours yesterday and this is indeed quite fun.  We only need four online for a complete ship crew, so come on and buy it.
I bought the game, but I haven't tried it yet.
I also have this game.
Post your GoIO username if it differs from your forum/Steam name and I'll add you all as friends. My username is EvilCheese.
I bought this game with my DotA 2 moneys but I can't install it until my new HDD arrives (I'm completely out of hard drive space now and I don't have much left I want to delete).
Bumping because I want to try to get a group together to play tonight. I'll be in around 10:00 PM EST, but you're welcome to get started sooner.
The game is pretty fun. I really enjoy it.

I think the main problem with the game is pubbies Tongue.
I'd like to get some BRBUers together to play this Friday (6/6). I'll try to be on around 10:00 pm EST. We can create a crew together so that we can move around as a group to different servers. If enough people come out we may even get two crews going for a full team.
Bumping to remind people this is still a thing.
Now that I know more people have this game I want to try getting a group together to play again sometime next week. Please weigh in on availability if you're interested. If I don't hear from anybody in a couple of days I'm just gonna pick a day and hope people show up. Feel free to add me as a friend, my user name is EvilCheese.
I'm down to play, unsure of my availability though.
I would like to try to get a group together to play on Thursday at 9:00 PM EST. If you have the game and want to try it out with other BRBUers (fun will be had and shenanigans will likely ensue) then I encourage you to join us.
Bumping to remind everybody I'm trying to get some people together for a game tonight at 9 PM EST.

Sorry dude. I just got out of work, or I would have showed up.
Following the discussion about this game we had in GroupMe, it sounds like there are some people still interested in playing it during a community night. I wanted to bump this thread to let people know that we're considering getting a group together to play if there's still any interest among those who posted before or the newly interested. I also have three passes I can give out as well.

Just to recap some of the things we talked about in GroupMe, the main points are:
*The game requires teamwork and communication, everybody has to play a role and nobody is able to carry a team or play a lone wolf and have any chance of winning a match.
*The basic mechanics are easy enough for most people to learn organically, but there's still plenty of room for skill and strategizing.
*The basic gameplay consists of a crew of four players operating an airship, with three different classes that fit different roles, the classes being pilot, engineer, and gunner.
*Teams of two to four airships battle against each other meaning that a game can consist of a maximum of 32 players.
*There is currently no dedicated server software, matchmaking only, but we can create private password protected matches and form a party if we don't have enough for a full match.

If you're interested in learning more about the mechanics, check out the wiki here: http://gunsoficarusonline.wikia.com/wiki...line_Wikia .
This interests me and I will have to look at vids/links later
