I just found an amazing tool that can auto-categorize your steam library.
Depressurize
It also allows you to ctrl-click multiple items and set the category for those selected which made it nice to make a "Z Wont Play" category and add all the games I won't play to it.(Z's there to place it at the bottom of the library)
Because all the genres for the games are done alphabetically action will probably have the most games and you'll probably need to move some out of that. For example Fallout New Vegas is a "Action, RPG" so it's placed in the Action category while FO3 is just categorized as RPG so I just changed it to the RPG cat.
So let it do the bulk of the work then fine tune the rest.
To save the changes save the profile and restart steam.
