Should I upgrade?  Should I wait?  I want to be able to max out new games.  Battlefield:HL, Star Citizen if that's even remotely possible when that drops.

Currently running:

GeForce GTX 760

Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.8GHz

16GB DDR3 RAM

I've got a 2560x1440 @ 59Hz monitor

Running Windows 10 Technical Preview

Well, hard to say really. You have pretty solid hardware as it is. Maybe the GPU would need it but the latest generation of Nvidia cards is catching a lot of flak for certain functionalities being disabled despite the hardware being well capable.
