My one big gripe is that when Im using the controller, I can't invert the air controls (eg. pushing forward on the stick causes the car to tilt back), but I can invert them on the keyboard.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Joy2Key?

Or alternatives:

I was kind of hoping there would be an internal thing to invert it that I hadn't just found.

Joy2Key would probably fuck with the steering
On PS4 you have to hold Square to start invert in air. So try something like that.

You're talking about mid-air rolling he's talking about inverse as though he were flying. (Pitch)
Ah yep, misunderstood.

It just defaults when you try with a controller

Yes HeK, I set those, it does not indicate WHICH direction the stick is being pressed, it defaults to up is pitch down, and down is pitch up. I would like for those to be reversed, but the basic input there doesn't allow it
It's part of the control for jumping; hold forward to do a flip forward and back to do a bicycle kick. I think your best bet would be to contact the devs to request that option for controllers.

So I was about to say that you can only set the axis and not each individual direction (as evidenced by the fact both rows have an up & down arrow on the icon), but I just tried it ingame and it totally works. If it didn't work for you before, Caf, maybe it was a stealth fix in the update yesterday?
moon ball is really tough to get the hang of, it's weird to not double jump when going for a high aerial, but with such low grav two jumps send you flying even without boost.

I like pinball, it seems a lot more random though and aerials are tough nutz

big ball is cool but you need to hop up for every hit, no ground game allowed

First game I played was slow-mo, thought I was lagging out the ass, quickly becomes realized as noob-friendy mode, way easier to predict paths

Cube is interesting and slow, it's like American football's progressive gaining of field position. I think it would be fun to do an in-house 4v4 with cube.
I really liked the pinball one, and it was ok with the high gravity, but I really think super lo grav/small ball/super bouncy with unlimited or at least recharging boost would be insane in the membrane. Even if it might just be an lolrandumb mode.

I don't know yet because I haven't tried it.
low gravity. Super bouncy. Small ball infinite boost 10x and time warp.
Thus forces you to attempt to position your trajectory based on the potential trajectory of every hit basically making you hope you're more accurate than the other guy.

This isn't me just spit balling I really think it could be fun this way.

I will give it a go tonight, but yes, when I was trying to remap it earlier that's exactly what it was doing to me.
pinball overtime can get really, really, annoying. Don't think I've had overtime take longer than the game before.

Score was 2-2 and the last one took soooo long.

I'm on the big ball bandwagon. also cube
3 new maps coming in this month's update. They all look insane.
