Hopefully the game mode is actually good.  I hated arena.  And the idea of possible new classes is sweet.  Would keep the game pretty fresh even once all the class updates happen.

I seriously doubt hunted is ever going to come back, considering PL was their "new version" of it. Also, this raged me:

No shit sherlock, so is everything in the game, that's generally why they're called "skilled". The level 3 dispensers are already making it ridiculously easy for Engis to set back up and stay up unless there's a large scale group effort from blue, and typically one or two engis can hold a chokepoint against the full blue team on most attack/defend or push maps with no real help from their team unless blue has very good teamwork. They don't need to fucking buff them again.

The loudest and usually the most massive group in any given thing is usually the stupid ones, and I don't like where the community driven TF2 shit is going.

Sadly that has to be somewhat true, as the Heavy updates were the most useless POS ever with a gimick like the Sandvich and a useless nub gun in the Natascha.  My boyfriend reads the official TF2 forums at work when he's bored at work, and I'm pretty sure everyone in there is retarded (and I would imagine where a lot of their "community" ideas come from).  WTF would they do to "fix" the spy disguises anyways though?  I think they did a pretty good job of fixing the class up already with the ammo for stealth deal, since like you said the class is supposed to be played out of sight most of the time anyways.
Only two things they need to fix with spies

1) Getting stuck in other models
2) Backstabs registering Sad

The wording in that article still cracks me up. "Only the sneakiest players"? Hmmm. Spy. Sneaky. Sneaky players are the only good spies. WE SHOULD FIX THAT!

And yes, the Natascha is shit and only useful for the Heavy players who were too fucking stupid to turn and prefire when being circle strafed by scouts, which I'm sure is why it was suggested a billion times. SCOUTS TOO FAST MAKE HEAVY FASTER, WAIT MAKE SCOUT SLOWER LOLOLOL

This. Although I no longer have trouble with backstabs, they should just take out the animation entirely imo, and I've actually never gotten stuck in someone.

The stuck bug has been made harder to replicate, but you can still do it, and its really aggravating when it happens. The only things I could see then "buffing" on the spy is letting them clip through enemies while cloaked or speeding up how fast you cloak/decloak.

Neither of these are really needed though
they should be able to feign death like tfc... Smile

There are plenty server with a plugin that allows the spy to throw a corspe with Mouse1 while cloaked

Problem is spamming ragdolls lags the server hard, and dont say people wont do it because thats the only thing that ever comes out of this plugin
but spamming them is fun Sad
but duck, it would be fun if we used it on pubs because then they would think they did kill the spy.  Big Grin
