Though I will say this, L4D produces more rage quits than almost any other game I've ever played
so just make sure i play with friends?

It uses console like match making, after you get a group of 8 friends it will randomly find an empty server for you.
Or you can type 'openserverbrowser' in the console and browse manually.
Or you just join our server since it should show up on your main menu now.

When I was playing demo, I actually enjoyed dieing and even getting screwed. Hasn't happened with any other game I've played.
Then again, maybe you guys are talking about versus mode, which I don't really care about at all.
