If any of you west coasters had been experience bad lag to the TF2 or l4d server, these issues should now be fixed.

If you continue to experience lag, please do a trace route to the server's IP and paste the results here so I can forward them to GameServers.

Plus some new people from Destructoid that recently got into the game and were going to come out, but the lag and disconnects got them to play with Yashoki and his crew instead apparently. Hope it's actually fixed this time, because I'd like to make an apology for it for next FNF post.

If you want more details, it was due to a level 2 routing issue with road_runner (isp), nothing to do with the server itself, but something on the route to the server.

I do find it humorous that they still have a server

Aerox told me. I didn't know they had a server still either. Good on them for not giving up yet I suppose. Smile
What about the random lag spikes affecting everyone?  Are those from the server or just the latest update.

There's a subtle difference between a ping and FPS spike, its usually easy to tell with net_graph

Odds are its a combo of both, especially since the HLDS has been full of complaints about similar issues
WA State babe

I don't think an actual server exists anymore, they just round up 5 people and go crash a pub server.
