demo, soldier (though I don't play soldier anymore, but when I do I use 1.5 times the sensitivity of demo)

It has a little button in the middle that scrolls between 600, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, and 2500 dpi. Usually play Scoot on 1200, everything else on 2000 unless I'm sucking, I like being able to tweak it.

2000 dpi, default in Vista (8th notch I think), and around 8-10 sensitivity.
However I'm confused because I need to turn my in-game sensitivity up way higher than from when I was in XP and I'm not sure why.
I feel so downs for not knowing this DPI thing :<.

a standard Dell mouse and use the default mouse sensitivity setting in TF2
sniper.
