Some of you may remember me, most probably don't...

wb, what were you up to these past several months  :-*
I went off and joined the Air Force actually.  Went to basic training between may 20th-July 4th 2008, then went on to technical training from July 4th until February 6th, 2009.  Been everywhere from Texas, to Mississippi to settling down here in Northern California where I'll be for at least a few years.  I'm now a Communications/Navigations troop on the C-5 Galaxy (I play with radios, gps, etc on a big fucking plane).  During tech school i did have internet, but it was extremely crappy internet, so couldn't game.  I am now running proudly on a strong Comcast high speed line, so expect me back and harassing you guys daily!

-Steve

Hey, I've got friends in all branches of the military.  It's not their fault they've had some bad commanders (in chief).

I'm not saying that's their fault. I have friends in the military too, but that doesn't mean I agree with their choices. I'm just anti-military in general. Tongue

I think the Air Force is better than some because they are kind of like the techies.  My friend from the army does not have good stories about the army.

Welcome back. Say hi to Fred for me.

What base?

Oh, and go fetch me some Kay-nine fluid, please.
I'm located at Travis AFB, CA at the moment, about an hour from San Francisco.  Damn it's good to be back among some gamers.  Most of the gamers during tech training were WOW players, something I myself never got too interested in.

I don't think I could give up TF2 if I tried.  Its made by a company I have long supported and its cartoony feel combined with excellent gameplay makes it an addiction.  Games like COD, etc seem too...serious I guess.  I play games to escape, not get mired down.
Don't know you.
You sound like a badass though.
