I think an all-spy round would be fitting. Players should all take on an air of tremendous self-importance combined with a deep melancholy and a hatred of society's spiraling decay. Bonus points if someone gets drunk on vermouth while playing. In-game philosophical discussions will need to be conducted as well.

I mentioned this last night in passing, but I think it might be worth trying to introduce one or two of the VS. Saxton Hale maps during one of the community nights. People often say they'd like to play an Arena game every once in a while, and the Saxton Hale games don't usually drag on for that long so people don't have to be kept waiting. It's nice stupid fun in small doses, and should be a good way to mix things up. Just a thought.

With the way the mods works currently, this isn't a feasible idea at all.
The plugin requires 4 other plugins that we do not run because we don't run gay shit like surf maps, and two of them require a full server reboot to load, not a simple map change.
We would need to reboot the box, change maps, re-password it, have everyone reconnect, just to play it, then reboot it again, change maps again, re-password it again and everyone reconnects again just to continue.

because it came up in the conversation last night on trains, could we do a trains night? ctf trains obv, windmilltrainsaw, well (any of them), freight, etc.?

Yep I believe there is 3 Dom maps and 2 custom TC maps already on the server, so it'd be pretty easy to set up, i would think.
