Been seeing this on a few other servers and thought it might be kinda neat to add to BRB #1 on a testing basis.  It's free, doesn't need to be updated (automatically done) and it doesn't eat up the server's bandwidth.  Also, seems fairly simple to install and people can listen to the radio (or not) as they game.  Thoughts?

And then i don't get why people call me a dick :3

Nah, just kidding, but i really think it's a nice idea, but meh, i've never felt we need a radio and when i pop up on a server that have radio, i never use it
Why not just use your own music thing to play tunes?  Not that hard to set up a playlist of songs you know you'll like with a number of different music programs.

I FIXED FOR YOU
this seems like a bad idea to dave
i support this
Id vote for this.
What's nice about the idea is, it's an added option.  It doesn't take from server resources, but gives people something extra if they don't feel like listening to their own tunes.
I just play my own music every time I play.

Yeah, I'm ok with NOT having this on the server.
Doesnt seem like it detracts from anything, it just opens a connection so one person can listen to a private internet radio stream.

that being said I think there are better ones that let you choose channels...
If people don't really want it on #1, I think it would be fine on server #2 to kinda continue the non-seriousness of the server.

In all seriousness. From time to time it's cool to have when you don't feel like listening to radio chatter.

If this is the one I'm thinking of it's all a personal choice whether you want to listen or not.  It's just directs an internet radio station into your client if you turn it on.  So it won't broadcast to everyone, which will be nice to some.  The only issue I can see is sing-a-longs, and this is entirely dependent on the quality of voices we have here.

But I always like listening to Radio.
That's exactly it Surf, you type something like !radio to turn it on, then choose your station and it broadcasts directly to your client, bipassing the server altogether.  Just thought it would be kinda neat.  Oh yeah, and congrats on your new position Smile
no if im on the seever shouting at you you better be god damn listening!

it's not loud enough to where you can't hear the other people talking

We need a plugin where you type !radio and a soundfile of Radio plays that just says "You freaking jerks."
