My box went down for a couple hours yesterday
The best bet when something like that happens, is to just rtv to stock maps. Me and Radio tried to tell people in the servers about it but people are just stupid so we ended up bailing after a few maps :\

It was A, since earlier I tried to download some...map I forgot the name and it wouldn't let me, then later idiots who I hate and are virgins decided that Blockfort was a good idea, and my friend who did not have Blockfort couldn't download it.
Stick to stocks, customs are fun times when a lot of regulars are around and the server won't end up with 4 people sitting on Blockfort with their thumbs up their ass.

I hope this kind of drives the point home, since even regulars couldn't play so maybe if we stick to stocks when half the server is pubs we won't end up having to re-seed the damn thing 20 minutes later.

Its stock-only on rotation, there's goof off maps loaded if people want to RTV to them (usually late nights)

server 1, and it's not even on the ftp. So the server went from like 15 people to 4.

Actually, lemme just expand on this. Most pubs will just jam the 1 key when they map vote, so if you nominate crap it'll most likely get rtv'd to, regardless of quality or whether or not it's a custom. So nominate responsibly. Everyone in brbu knows orange is shit, but if you're going to nominate it, even as a joke, it'll probably win the map vote unless someone goes out of their way to shout at people to not RTV it.
