If you look hard enough barely at all, you'll notice a plethora of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Valve doesn't do grammatical errors.

Well that "update" isn't real as it's not on a valve site, none of the links work, and the language things at the bottom contain a mailto link.

Also the already-mentioned spelling mistakes.

Looks to me like the blog post was just another of their little nods to fun community crap like this.

might not be a 10th class, but merely an engie substitute.  Engie summons dog while not in spawn and is then 1st person as the dog, but can be killed and if he dies the dog dies.  or maybe you build it, so you can swap back and forth between them.  I think it wouldn't be THAT far out of Valve's creative boundries tbh... we'll see

It says cannon propelled item-retriever

Its likely a replacement for the shotgun that you use to gank metal (dropped weapons or fixed spawn), and then the dog brings it back (assuming it isn't shot) so you can safely build your SG from behind cover.

I was thinking it'd be a soldier replacement for the rocket launcher? They'd probably do a soldier/engy or demo/engy simultaneous update.
