One thing you'll learn about me, I am always thinking. Always. Usually about what to do next, how to execute it, what would happen in the chain of events to come if everything happens as plan, and if everything goes fubar, how to fix/nuetralize/get the fuck out of dodge of the situation.

As you would expect, I sometimes get ideas in how to improve things or add to things and there is such a strong community base for valve games,  I can't help but get ideas about TF2, concerning items, weapons, maps, taunts, et cetera.

Figuring the old phrase "more heads are better"(Yes, I know It's two heads, I'm counting more than two on the site.) still rings true, I made this thread for us to share ideas and suggest ways to better improve these ideas.

As for the fate of these ideas, I was thinking of learning the program(If it is what I think it's like, I might have a year experience working with something like it, and my brother is taking that class now with the same.) and submitting some things, and I will gladly submit anyone's ideas, but . I also hear valve sometimes pulls ideas from internet forums like this, as they did for The Charger in L4D2.

So I guess I'll put up my latest two ideas first, a demoknight-set and a misc. sniper item:

The Bagpipe Buckler
30%explosive damage resistance

40% fire damage resistance.

The Bucklers ability:The Buckler can reduce any damage to half-potential when it is used(has a meter and cool down rate.) When used to block melee, mini-crits will be given for 3 seconds.

Possible necessary mace;
-10% slowdown.
15% damage

Needed to use the mini-crit feature.

Testing is required(as with anything)

Sniper's Tribal Paint

I figured that the update items he has recieved seems displaced on such a civilized-looking man, so why not add something that would atleast change his appearence, if only slightly? The design of the paint is still up in the air, but i'm considering apache facepaint since they were efficent with marksmanship and hunting.

I have some engi-update stuff but I won't pull it out until it's actually out so I don't stomp all over anything.

The tribal paint sounds pretty good for like a hat or misc slot item
The BugFixer - Replaces Wrench.  1/2 damage to players.  Chance of fixing a bug in TF2 related to whatever it hits.  IE Kill a Spy?  There's a chance failstabs may spontaneously cease.  Hit a wall on Dustbowl?  Dustbowl might be deleted from TF2.  Immediately distributes update to all clients and servers, with special attention given to making certain that linux servers won't update correctly 5 minutes before TFT starts.

Tactical Audio Assaulter: Replacing the Buff Banner, this seven-dollar plastic menace to humanity lowers a 15-second cone of NOISE over the entire map, friend and foe alike. First tested as a weapon in South Africa in 2010, it was aimed at an athletic competition and a billion TV-watchers were caught in the crossfire. Striped in your team colors. More offensive than Jarate. Order today, from the Mann Co, bringing pain to real men since your grandfather was getting beat up for his milk money.
LRAD: engineer building, replaces sentry gun, costs 200 metal. emits a spectrum of soundwaves from high to low until it is destroyed. everyone on the map can hear these soundwaves
Updated!

I like the LRAD idea, atleast in concept.

Quick update to my update;

The BB is no longer a defensive shield, it's now the purposed mace.

In fact, The Bagpipe Buckler is now Bagpipe Buster.

It's somewhat like the buff banner, but less team-friendly.

Here's the new run down of its effect;
-5% damage(in base-form)
-?% "firing rate"
Widens area for a contact charge

The Bucklers will visually well-up with the damage the player receives, until it reaches critical-mass. Once filled,Melee strikes are now 15% more effective. This mass can be traded for a forceful charge with an area-of-effect. If the player is on fire, this area of effect can distribute flames while extinguishing the player.

to be extended upon.
I like the idea of teleporter exits that you could stick to walls/ceilings, allows for creative placement, and the griefing potential is...unlimited....

Youtube did it.

Spiked Knuckles - Replaces fists (creative name pending)

These fearsome gauntlets are wrapped in barbed wire to help give your foes that extra punch they deserve. Unfortunately, this goes both ways, and using these gloves can prove painful for even the most giant man.

+20% damage (maybe bleeding?)
-5 hp per second while equipped OR receive 50% of damage inflicted on an enemy? (applies to crits)
Tiger Shark Sentry - TSS for short
+100% Damage
Needs more metal to produce
Can only fire 5 shots in three minutes.

Shoots out Tiger Sharks instead of missiles, and the Sharks are indeed on fire with a cowboy riding them.
Sniper should get a cardboard cutout  :p
Replaces secondary weapon, is cardboard cutout of any class of his choosing.

I like that.

If you don't mind, I'll bash some names around in my head, one I already have is "The Red Scare". Another cool effect might be bleeding from the hands when equipped.

The tauntkill could be that spinning lariat thing from streets of rage.
