Since I suggested the idea a few days ago; I'll go ahead and take the reins for this week's FNF. We're going to be doing a modified highlander game--that is, 12v12 instead of a standard 9v9, with select classes being duplicated. I've meditated on it for a bit, and I've decided that we will have duplicate scouts, soldiers, and medics. I believe that roles like sniper and spy should be limited as their roles are very specific in nature, and I also think that the roles of Demoman, Heavy, and Engineer are best limited to one per team due to their great suppressive or camping abilities. I'd consider changing scout to pyro, but only if you guys think it's a better option. Finally, on a team of 12, I think that 2 medics should be the bare minimum. The heavy isn't the only one that needs loving.
Anyways, here's how it'll work. I need everyone to sign up for a class. This is first-come, first serve. That means we will be accepting 4 scouts, 4 soldiers, 2 pyros, and so on. Once the roster is full (or there is only about an hour until FNF), I will literally put everyone's name into my hat to determine teams. On my honor, I'm not interested in stacking teams (though I won't fudge the drawing in order to balance either). If the teams are unbalanced, we'll put up votes to swap individual players after the first map.
