But Zaius, you hate TF2!!! - BRBu

I've been a part of this fine community for a little over two years now, and I'd like to try my hand at contributing to it (moreso than I already don't).
Assuming no one is on their death bed and wanting to do this friday's FNF, I've got a plan for the best night of the TF2 week.

Here it is:



Maps subject to change

Running of the Bull - Heavy melee only. Steaks and Sandviches allowed. Bonus points if you bring your helmets.
PLR Waste - Neutral Cart


The Master Race - Class battles (RPS), you know how it goes.
Arena Sawmill


Where Are The Hitboxes??? - Projectiles only. No Hitscan weapons or melee. Arrows, Pipes, Rockets, Flares, Baseballs and jeeeerate and other questionable liquids. This means no ubers, but medics can use crossbows.
CP Bazillion - Maybe this or a different 5point CP map


Team Deathmatch - Shotguns and pistols only, no melee. Resurrection of Saxxy's halo night KOTH. Taking the cheap route with this because it was fun and I'll probably be really drunk by this time.
scouts: no popper and no drinks, you cunts.
heavies: no sandvich

KOTH Moonshine - ty Saxxy


Another thing I want to stress about FNF is that you should think of it as a night to just kinda relax and fuck around with different playstyles you might not have had a chance to try before. That's the most important part of this.




I'm gonna be democratic as h*ck about this, if you don't like it speak up or forever shut your shit. I'll change it up if people don't like what they see.  Wink

Suggestions appreciated, help me make it good.

We're gonna do an arena map for RPS, to keep it simple. I'm not saying we'll do a ton of rounds, but arena will make it easier to do, I think. Will probably do a better map though. I'm not familiar with many Arena maps.

I don't know which neutral cart maps we have on the server, if there's a good one we'll do that.

EDIT:Might also do a payload race.
Double Edit: Waste is a neutral PLR, We'll do this one unless a better one comes up.

2tpl_mine_alpine is a neutral payload with a anti-stalemate twist: once you get the cart past a control point near the enemy base, a timer starts counting down.  If it reaches zero, you win.  so, you win either by pushing the cart all the way to the final point, or you keep it within a close distance.  Its a small map too (basically 3 cps of a normal 5cp map), so Mr. Hoovy won't have to run far to punch tiny baby man.

I'm hoping this is more fun that last FNF, the matches were good, but it just didn't feel crazy to me.

Hmmm. Might've got an idea for that third map.

I'm down. My Level 98 Lucksman is so up in that third map.
can we flamethrower in the projectile map? and can we use sniper or smg in the hitscan one?

Gonna have to say no to both. For fear of it breaking the intended dynamic and other's complaining (myself included).


The shotgun/pistol match is supposed to be strictly shotguns (scout/heavy/pyro/soldier/engie) and pistols (scout/engie) though I am thinking about letting people use revolver spies as long as there's no cloaking or disguising (including dead ringer)

It's supposed to be an all out nonsense brawl shootout, so it's better to keep it simple.
Is this like Debbie does Dallas?

Also, your yellow font makes my eyes bleed.

No, what he's saying is that yellow text on white background is unreadable.
and yellow text on light gray background is unreadable.
if you want it to be SEEN, you put yellow on BLACK background.

Which is what it would be if you guys were using the black and blue theme instead of the default.
