By far the best way to kill 3 hours without feel like your wasting time.

qft. I wish I had the patience for it Sad

Vandamguy

theres no patience or anything to it , you just play the junk for what feels like 15 minutes , and instead it was 3 hours ,and you're late for work

Galactic Civ 2 does a pretty good job of doing that to me.  I just keep telling myself "5 more turns" and next thing I know its 2am and I got to be up at 6 for work.
Yeah, I felt that a lot on GalCiv2.

did like galciv2 as well, i always prefer to be a researcher. specifically researching economy bonuses, which causes my monies to increase , which causes faster research.  >Smile and i have tier 16 death lasers when you are just figuring out tractor beams

I play the exact way but focus on trade/economy so I can buy techs from other races and build up my civics faster.  Unfortunately this possibly leads to asshole evil races going out of their way to destroy me early on.
I always whored the hell out of research Big Grin
I'll be finally giving this game a go after months of anticipation.  As soon as my last final is done, I'm installing it.  Looking forward to it.

Oh, and the demo has finally been released for anyone that wants to give it a go.
So I'm up and running, and have a few games under my belt by now.  Anyone interested in a game or two sometime?

Absolutely. We'll have to see if this is Hamachi friendly, if so, its a great way to kill a couple hours.
Do any of you have the expansion for GalCiv2?  I heard it was quite good, but never got around to getting it.  Now, if everyone were to assure me it was worth it, though...
I have it. Smile

Wish it had multiplayer, though, unless there's a mod for it. Sad
I'm "Black Aspen" if anyone wants to throw me on their friend's list for Sins.  Post your shit if you feel like it.

One expansion out, another due in Feb, if you preorder you get in on the beta. Worth buying now? Y/N (circle one)
Bump for awesomeness
That reminds me, I need to reply to the Games List thread saying I own this.
I was going to revive this thing when we started talking about the different factions and shit.  Surf, you saved me the trouble of searching for it.  Awesome.

Soooooo...

Anyone want to organize some games here?  Co-op, FFA, or Vs.?  I'm good most nights past 8pm EST.
I might be looking to coop after Tuesday.  Only played the one race so far (humans or w/e) since i enjoy their cap ships and fighters Tongue
