..alot. I have $150 headphones, a $250 Vacuum Tube amp, and an X-fi Soundcard. yet i still want about $400 more of audio stuff, along with a nice high-end mic so i can record at home. I'm looking at buying a DAC (Digital to Analog converter, its crunches numbers outside of the comptuer, so it isn't affected by EMI in side the PC.), as well as a new Soundcar dto hook it up to (the X-Fi Prelude, its pretty and does nice things and has a zillion connections.)
Now all i need is more money...

Im perfectly happy with my XFI Gamers edition
Heh, it's funny that while I have $150 speakers (just a 2 speaker setup), I cheaped out and got a $15 headset. :p

Maybe he doesn't like music, but is just an audiophile and loves solely the equiptment
I had a witty post, but then the board crashed.  Maybe it was too witty for the board to handle?

In the interest of the board just imagine something really witty and imagine I said it here.

I also talked about some dude's setup that was awesome yet extreme.  Since I don't want to retype it I will just try to list words in a stream of thought fashion that you should be able to derive what was originally said from.  Here it goes:

Dude, audiophile, room, special sound wood, specific speaker location, chair in middle room - triangulated, lots of money worth of equipment, epic vynil collection, way to much time, possibly insane, special wall panels, way to much math involved, can ears even detect the awesomeness present, probably a waste of time/money.
The Auzentech X-Fi got a 9/10 and a kickass award from Maximum PC. Smile
