how long has it been sitting there?
can you still launch the game? i remember i was able to play counter-strike even though it wasn't fully loaded yet.

Hmm, odd, well you could try launching it like Toilet Duck said, see if it finishes itself out while you play. I know Ive had this problem before with other games, just gotta delete and keep trying usually its steam hiccuping

Yeah, I'd suggest just launching it. I've had TF2 sitting on "0% updating" plenty of times, which didn't seem to have any affect on anything.
