Well I was hoping to put this off long enough but if I don't make one soon I will just be behind with the times, right?

Let us start with my online moniker:  Tragic Hero. Where did I come up with it?  Well obviously I took it from Greek literature but I felt that it defined the way that I play most video games online.  I'll usually have a good run, kill a great amount of people or cap the intel once or twice and then when I have the ability to stop the other team from winning I choke.  Tragically if you will...

My Gaming History:  I guess you can say I started gaming in 1988 when my mom bought our family our first computer.  Games such as Kings Quest, Space Quest, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and TankWars/Scorched Earth occupied most of my early childhood.  Then of course came the NES, SNES, Gameboy, Virtual Boy, Game.com (lol?), Gameboy color, Playstation, N64, Gameboy Advance, PS2, Gamecube, DS, Xbox360 and finally the Wii.  But over all those years the PC has always been my "platform" of choice.  How couldn't it be with games like Xcom, Fallout, Civilization, Sim City, Ultima Online, and many other classics that have made gaming what it is today?

General Info:  Besides gaming, my hobbies usually consist of athletics, drinking at the pub and sometimes gambling.  Athletics have always been a major part of my life since the day my dad would kick me off the TV and force me to go outside to today with pick up games of Softball, Tennis, and European Football.  In high school my chief sport was volleyball, I was actually earned all conference my sophmore and junior year and was nominated for all area my junior year as well.  Also played football but there is way too much drama involved in H.S. football.  I also Muay Thai Kick Boxed for two years.  Was getting pretty good at that too until I had to go off to school.  I still practice today but I'm not as precise as I used to be.

Then that brings us to drinking and gambling.  Gambling I can't really do since I am jobless at the moment but its fun nonetheless and believe it or not I know how to make a profit on a roulette table.  I probably shouldn't be going to the pub as much as I do but since I am somewhat of a regular the bartender likes to show his appreciation with free beers so it works for me.

I also read a lot.  More in the form of classic literature or books having to do with history rather than graphic novels or anything like that.  I do enjoy reading manga though (Naruto, Bleach, Prince of Tennis, Eyeshield 21) and I own some comics but most of my reading is in the form of books.  Musical tastes fall mainly under the genre of Alt. Rock and Punk but there are plenty of other types of music I still enjoy.  Favorite bands of past and present are:  Queen, Rush, Coheed and Cambria, Rise Against, The Offispring, Social Distortion, Against Me!, Floggin Molly, Local H, Daft Punk, Paul Oakenfold, Nine Inch Nails and Rage Against the Machine to name a few.

I also am currently finishing in up my final semester of college, which unfortunately to do so I have to take summer school classes *sob*.  I am getting my computer science degree and hopefully I can get into the field of computer programmer if I would stop being so lazy and actually work at it.  But really any job in the computer related field would suit me just fine.

And while we are at it...favorite sports teams consist of The Chicago White Sox, A.C. Milan, Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts (Peyton Manning fan more than a Colts fan), and whoever is playing the Chicago Cubs  ;D

Well I think that covered a decent amount about me.  Thank you for your time?

No sir, and thats evident due to the fact that my eyes are still in my head and not stabbed at.
Blind people can still play Team Fortress.  Your evidence is weak!
I remember Kings Quest was the one of two games my best friend had on his computer. The other was Alley cat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alley_Cat_(video_game)
We played a lot of Alley cat.

True but I am so tired of college.  Class every night after work for 3 hours has been very taxing.

What's your plan after?
Probably to go and get my certification in programming somewhere for C# so I can get a programming job, despite what Caf says about needing one.  OR, I might just stay as a mailman in hopes that another position opens up within the post office other than mail carrier.

I think working for the post office is pretty good stuff, to be honest.
