Hi
I thought i better put an introduction here since all the cool kids are doing it.
I'm TheToiletDuck, which i know is confusing since there is another ToiletDuck already but think of me like Office Space's Michael Bolton. My real name's Aidan but i respond to anything, Toilet, Duck, The, and particularly "why the fuck did you put a sentry gun there".
When i'm playing seriously i'll usually be a medic or an engi, but i'll try out any other class if the team needs it (i am a terrible spy though). Speaking of Engi, i sometimes get bored with the sentries being in the same place everytime so i like to mix it up a bit and put the sentry in random places, yeah i know "i'm playing it wrong" but hey it might throw the other team off for a bit or at least stall them. I'm like those lizards that bleed through their eyeballs (http://tubearoo.com/articles/90334/Blood...izard.html)
So yeah, i like to experiment with the game sometimes, which is quite fitting because in the real world i'm a scientist. A mycologist to be exact, and yeah i can ID the magic ones.
I live in New Zealand, hence my 200 ping (which also prevents me from using mic too, in case your wondering). It's pretty awesome here but I've decided at the end of our winter i shall move to the U.K.... into another winter. Hopefully, i'll still be able to catch ppl on the States server but the time difference isn't kind.
I've been playing games since i was a kid, starting with a Commodore 64 and then subsequently getting a Genesis from when my dad visited the Ireland. Fun Fact: The UK genesis we owned had a headphone jack and couldnt send sound to the TV! It was also more badass than the ones people got in NZ because it was called a Genesis and not a MegaDrive (haha laym).
Like most NZ kids i wasn't raised on Nintendo but have caught up pretty well and have owned most of their consoles. I now own a Wii, 360, Ps2 and my PC which i have a new found love for since TF2 was released. I am thinking when i move to the uk i won't replace my 360 and instead i will get a ps3.. but i'll mull it over.
Umm, that's all i guess... check out my dtoid blog profile if you want more (http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/TheToiletDuck/)
Oh yeah, I switched over from the 360 orange box solely to play with dtoid players ... it's okay..... i guess.Â
p.s. seriously, i need a job when i get to london in sept... hook me up with your science.
