Just curious how many of you would be interested in playing some wc3 DOTA or other customs on saturdays?
I could host games on bnet unless you guys have a better way. Anyone interested? Or possibly other rts games like dawn of war?
interested , but in order to get a proper 4 on 4 game , we need to distribute some "trial versions"

Yeah I had a half assed attempt at making this work but you have a handful of people that have WC3 and a handful within that handful that played DOTA. 3 on 3 would actually work decent. Wouldn't be that much fun but at least everyone got their own lane. I would be up for 3 vs 3. Oh and I got dibbs on silencer
I have a 'copy' which can be used by 'anyone'. PM me for more.
So far we got 4 people total plus I got two friends who might join. 3v3 sounds decent but we could always pub. As for *legitimate* copies I'm not really the person to ask, probably you guys would know more as to how to *obtain* those.

Ah SC, oh the memories. Anyways seems like there's some interest in WC3 and in SC. I don't think I can make polls, so if someone could throw one up so we can find out which game has more interest so people can setup for it properly.

Dawn of war would be a good candidate for the non-hardcore RTS player (i.e. you don't need to do much micromanaging and what not) as it's more action oriented and fast paced.

How about some Supreme Commander. Huge armies are fucking awesome.

My vote goes to Dawn of War if we're gunna play the real games. Plus if you can get a copy it doesnt require a cd and we can play over hamachi. But if its customs we're after WC3 hands down.
Yeah, Dawn of War would be fun to play with you guys. Granted I only have Dark Crusade.
Did anybody see the videos for Dawn of War II yet? I came bucketloads when I watched those.

We could all play together with just Dark Crusade, but if you only have DC you only get to use Necrons and Tau. D:
