Be Right Back, Uninstalling

I'm not fucking joking.  I was at Wal-Mart and came home and there was cat hair all over my screen and the monitor was dead.  I restarted it and it will go to the desktop and then go black.  I have to turn it off and reset it.  The problem is only in Vista though, OSX works fine.  I'm really getting tired of this shit.  Hope everyone has fun playing the ship, I will probably have to reinstall Vista if it doesn't start working.

Vista is allergic to cats.

The cats turned the brightness all the way down, so vista loads up then it gets to the part where it loads the mac drivers and remembers the laptop settings and decides to set the brightness back to where it was left and goes black.

My wife figured it out, she was like wait if you look really close it looks like you can sort of see the desktop.  This begs the question, why the fuck do laptops have a setting turning off the backlight completely?  Is there a point to this?  Or is it just so that your pets can freak you the fuck out when they feel they are not getting enough attention?

Don't worry, the cat will find a way to destroy the laptop soon enough.

Sorry but this just cracked me up... don't get me wrong, it's very easy to think something is very wrong with a computer and finding out it's something so simple...

i might want my laptop brightness to go all the way down like that if im just uing it to listen to music , while on battery power.

I ve seen this before acctualy.
A friend of mine fried his lappy motherboard while his cat was playing around with the keys.  He thought it would be funny if the cat played on the keyboard just like on the piano or something.  I think he has some audio program that emulates the piano or some shit.
When he came back to best buy to tell them what happened, the geek squad told him that electro static fried his motherboard and that it will not be covered under the agreement of warantee.  Let me put it this way, after about 4 month going back and forward and calling places he said FUCK IT and sold it on e bay.

So computer is working 100% but today I got home and it was off.  Booted it everything was fine, I was a little curious as to why the mouse wouldn't work (also why it was off but hey as long as it is working.

Long story short the mouse cable was chewed in half.  The new one I got off woot.  I'm definately not happy with my cat right now.

Anyone know of another good mouse for cheap?  I guess I will just go back to my old one.  But if anyone knows of a good mouse please tell me.

Also the cord has to be made of rubber.  For some reason this particular cat likes chewing on plastic, which is often used as a rubber substitute.  I often find out which cords are rubber and which are really plastic this way >
