For those of you alive in the '80s you may remeber the movie Tron. It was a great movie, and one of the coolest parts was the lightcycle race, I've always wanted to play that. Well now you can. I introduce to you: Armagetron Advance a free multiplayer light cycle game. I used to play it on my old school computers so you kids can play it on your win98 computers.

Oh, I gave that a go back in university. It was a lot of fun, but the lag was a bit much for a game that requires the reaction speed that one does. I'd be willing to give that a go at the least to see what's changed and if the lag issue was fixed.
If you guys want to try it this week, I'll be gone on a trip, so if someone else wants to plan it, that'd be spectacular.

I've played this game and it is super fun.
Really hard though.
I used to play this game a while ago, so i'd definitely be up for some armageton. I used to be pretty good at it too.
It takes some getting used to, if I remember correctly you get a split second before dieing when you hit a wall. If you hit a direction key in that time you will ride the wall for a speed boost. If you got good enough you could build up a lot of speed doing that.
The problem was that you are actually creating new walls just a tiny bit offset from the one you are riding and if you aren't careful you will trap yourself between them without even realizing it.
eh, i liked the lightcycle game from tron 2.0 the pc game more.
