So, I just recently went through some issues with my computer, got it working with vista. Now, I reinstall the drivers for my Wacom Intuos3... Nothing works right. First off, my normal mouse now feels completely off. It's too slow, but if I put the speed up a notch in the windows settings, it's way to fast.
Next, every time I try a single click with the pen, I get a double click. I've scoured through all the different options and services and alternative drivers and google searches I could possibly do, and absolutely nothing can resolve this issue. So, I'm asking you all: Halp?
I saw the title and thought Surf started this thread. Tongue
same, although for very different reasons. Tongue
I uninstalled the driver, and now everything works fine...

Another problem: Every time I boot my computer, I have to refresh my IP before my internet works... I'm pretty sure it's not my router because this never happens when I'm on XP or Fedora.
I love my vista.

Hmm...that is strange. When you refresh your IP address, are you getting a completely different one? If so, try giving your computer a static IP address, I'm assuming it doesn't already have one.

I know that sounds weird, and sounds like it wouldn't do any good, but I had some weird issues with Vista networking as well. My motherboard has two ethernet ports, but the bottom port would not work in Vista. It works fine now in XP. I just had to use the top one...weird...

All of this is assuming that you don't have any adware and/or viruses on your machine that are screwing with your registry settings, though I think you would know if you did. Wink

If you can't get it working, however, you could always create a batch file that would release and renew your IP address on startup, since that seems to be working for you anyways...
I've got a funny problem.  Everytime I quit tf2 it says "HL2.exe has quit functioning, would you like to check for a fix?"

Well no shit it stopped working I quit it.  Anyone know how to fix that?  I literally have pages and pages of error log with just that problem.

I think that happens to most people with Vista. Happens to me, happens to my friends that run Vista.
