And I will once more say don't spread that bullshit. I don't give a shit what comic you put up that makes me look stupid. I have to listen to news, read newspapers, and check websites that use the same psychological warfare as politics. I'm not a fanboy at all. I do own all the systems. Frankly, after beating MGS4, I haven't really sat down and played a real game game on the PS3. All I've been doing now is trying to unlock the trophies in Super Stardust HD, and it's kicking my ass. Same goes for the Wii. The last game game I've played on it is Brawl.

Yes the PS3 and Wii are good systems. They just don't have enough games on it that I want to play. I enjoyed Uncharted, Resistance, Folklore, and MGS4 thoroughly, and a great deal of the downloadable games I do enjoy.

If this is true, thank fucking god, I wont need to buy an overpriced black monolith solely to play it.

Edit: They also mention PC....which perks my interest as well...FFXIII over steam anyone?

This was a GENIUS move by both microsoft and DEFINITELY squeenix.

Since the 360 has the biggest upcoming RPG library, most RPGfiles that I know are picking up the cheaper 360. Combine this with the price break, FF13 coming out on the 360 will help move a LOT of consoles on this side of the pacific.

Japan wise, this might be the killer app microsoft needs to move products there.

Anyways, Squeenix is gonna be making a shitton of money.

They already punched Sonykids in the ovaries by announcing the next one for DS.

I've got both, and I'd rather pick it up for PS3.  Something about having a console that will work. (I've had my 360 die multiple times, each time was when I had just bought something I had been dieing to play)

It's certainly good for the death of exclusivity (besides 1st party games obviously). I'm not sure which version I'll pick up.

It makes sense though, release it on 360 for the states (the only place the 360 is popular) and release it on the ps3 for the rest of the world...

I think the 360 release is going to be America and Europe.

I'm still kind of tossed about this. Sure, FF13 is a big title... but I'd care a lot more if they announced MGS4 for the 360. Or at least the MGS Essential Collection for 360 and/or Wii. Those are honestly the only reason I'd get a PS3 or another PS2 at this point. ^_^
