Be Right Back, Uninstalling

It's that time again!  I won't make it for this one cuz I gotta go to Miami for a baby shower.  My sister-in-law is due in August.  But I picked 4 good ones for you.  Next week I'm declaring zombie week, so be prepared for lots of brains.  Bring a spoon.

Battlegrounds 2
This is a popular revolutionary war themed mod.  If it gets voted be prepared for lots of jokes about "my dearest Martha," and the british equivalent.  I dunno we will have to get Budr or Dave to weigh in.

PVKII
This one has been played and loved.  As it's name states it's pirates vs. vikings vs. knights.  It's got a lot of silly humor and can be a blast if played with the right people.  I'd recommend the pirates for sheer comedic value.

DIPRIP
Did you love Twisted Metal?  Did you own the shirt?  Have you gotten arrested for reckless endangerment of others with a motorized vehicle?  This mod may be for you!  There is some controversy over this one but there are community members that will swear by it (one of them lives by me and will probably hurt me if I don't give this one a fair chance).

DBSource
It's Dragon Ball Z and is supposed to play really well.  I don't think more needs to be said!


Why #4 kept changing:  The Wastes turned out to be HL1 only, they were going to release a source mod (HL2 mod) but the group broke up before it was finished.  It's a shame because the HL1 mod was supposed to be really good and the teaser they released for the source game looked good too.  Unfortunately the same problem hit Forsaken but at a later time.  Their idea was really awesome but they broke up before it was implemented well.  The beta they released before closing down was tried by duck and he said that it was poorly implemented and glitchy.  Remember you can change your votes so if you need to go ahead.

Is it selfish that I'm making next week zombie week because I fucking love the zombie mods and I'm craving to play one of them with you guys?

Also Luin and Hek can't make it and it was talking with Luin that inspired this.  And I can't remember what zombie mod she was raving about  :'(

You guys should check out DBSource. It takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun and very well done. And DBZ!

Replacing Forsaken with it cuz duck tried it and said it's very beta-like (glitchy, slow, etc).  Makes me sad the description made it sound awesome.

It's a blind vote, you dont know who's winning till it's over.  Makes it more interesting and keeps people from voting their second choice because it has more chance of winning.

You guys should try ESF it's basically DBsource except it's a HL1 mod. It's a lot further along in development and is a hell of a lot more enjoyable to play than DBsource. It also has some pretty neat combat mechanics. ALSO YOU CAN GO SUPER SAIYAN!!!!
