Server is up, not passworded, I scheduled the event for 12am GMT, which is 7pm est.

Kick ass, I might stop in depending on what's going on here. I'd love to show my brother-in-law that game. He's a big console gamer but never really got into PC games.
But remember this coming Thursday is all zombie mod night. So no bitching about already playing one of the best ones.
Also if Luin reads this I need the name (and link) of the zombie mod you were telling us about. ;D
One last thing if possible the server needs ZPO maps. Those are by far the best maps for zombie panic. The best ones I can think of was this one that was like the resident evil movie, umm joel would know its with all these buttons and you gotta escape and shit. You can flood places? Also zpo_subway of course but I think that's already on. There was one more where you have to launch a nuke. That one was great.
Also there was this one time survival map that had a bunker loaded with weapons. What made it so cool was that it was a very defensible location but you were also trapped if the zombies made any sort of decent coordinated effort or just whittled down your ammo. There were also a lot of other places you could hide and it was almost better to move around.

I hate zpo maps. 99% of the time, nobody knows what to do and zombies get to rape us. That's why I pick zombie every time.
make sure you have 1.25 - people having different versions messed us up last time. You can play some maps with the wrong version but then you will run into all kinds of problems. It's weird but just do yourself a favor and make sure you got it.
I actually have zombie panic, so i might just join in on this. First time playing though.
Was fun but I forgot how quickly ZP gets annoying, great in very small doses.
I was out watching The Dark Knight...so awesome.

It has yet to get old for me, I love this mod. Some people did not have 1.25 which creates some problems in certain maps....so go upgrade!
The only thing about this mod is who really wins? It just never seems to be the point. I always just like to enjoy the experience. If you play it right it's just like being in a movie. God I can't wait for L4D.
Am I the only one who thinks this is one of the most boring multiplayer mods ever? Walk in room, push props infront of door, wait until death isn't very fun for me.

I don't like to play like that and I don't think you can really even win like that. That's what I think is cool about the mod though, if you were attacked by zombies that would probably be what you would think to do - get a shit load of weapons and ammo and barricade yourself in. I think why it's always fun for me is I play it more like an experience.
This is one of the reasons why the zpo maps are so much better thoughÂ
