I know I've mentioned my love for Monty Python and the Holy Grail before....but... I honestly can't think of any better villain then The Black Knight

Black Knight is not a villian.  He's just misunderstood.
Granted the movie just came out, you still have to say Ledger's joker was at least *SLIGHTLY* better than jack's.
That doesn't go without saying Jack Nicholson is my favorite actor.
Magus should be in every videogame.
You're missing Roy Batty on there from Bladerunner.

Agreed.
<Insert List at a later date>

Gonna take a bit of time to think on this one
roy is good but i wouldnt consider him a villain.. its a being just trying desperately to figure out who he is and why he exists.. i feel bad for the dude Sad

one of the greatest quotes from that movie too

"in the end, we are all just tears in the rain"

Fixed.

fuck you.. google quote looker uper
wikiquote ftw
Good call on Bill The Butcher.

After watching the original Batman, I'm gonna have to go with Ledger. His Joker was just a lot scarier and imposing than Nicholson's. The Joker is supposed to be like Batman's ultimate nemesis right? Then he should be a fucking badass, which Nicholson just never quite came off as.

Gonna throw in Patrick Bateman of American Psycho fame. Nothing better than a guy that's just batshit insane, doing two chicks at the same time and then killing them with a chainsaw.
im sick of debating the whole ledger, nicholson thing.. they are 2 completely different roles

once again, original batman is tim burtons rendition.. the new ones stay true to the comic book.. they are played differently because they are different.  If you prefer ledgers joker over nicholsons then thats fine but dont say ledger is a better joker cuz he isnt and its impossible to compare

But even if he weren't the better "Joker" I would still be having this argument, simply because I think he's the better villain. More twisted, cutthroat, diabolical, etc etc etc.

comparing ledger's joker to nicholson's joker is like comparing star wars to star trek. You just can't do it.

But you can compare Star Wars to Star Trek in the case of which one is just generally better.  Granted its an opinion argument but you can always compare them.

I don't agree with Bateman being a Villain.  The guy is just nuts.  No sinister motive or anything like that.  He is just messed up in the head.
