I just picked this up again after many years and lemme just say ... this is still, by far, the greatest RPG I've ever played.

I play my SNES more than all my consoles combined.

(I can beat the +game with Crono only btw)
I'm currently on the first Magus battle again. I forgot how annoying this fight is. Sad
The snes was probably my favorite console simply because of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI.

I've played through Chrono Trigger at least 10 times by now. Big Grin

@Squishy: I don't know how you could find that fight annoying. It's probably my favorite boss fight in the entire game. ;D

Because Magus changes elements whenever I cast a spell of the element he is. >Sad

this is before it actually gets cast, so it heals him
I still haven't beaten Chrono Trigger.  I'm in 60 million BC the first time.

Heh. If I didn't have a 360 I'd say the same thing. Mostly because I would've gotten around to modding my SNES to play PAL games. Big Grin

Where did I say mine weren't?

Did you max out hunting range items tenfold times to sell off the traded items over and over until you could buy the gear in Medina village for every character when it's insanely priced?  No, I didn't think so.

LOL.  Ok I think you win Big Grin
you bastards had to bring up chrono trigger...

I though "you know, I never really finished that game, I think I'll play through it"  so today, I get home from the lab, but I need to go back and check on the experiment every hour and take a data set.  Fast forward 3 hours, I've made great progress ingame and will be resetting the experiment tomorrow.

Does your experiment involve time and the traveling therein?
Unfortunately no, and time travel is mostly a load of BS.  And if it weren't, the many worlds theory would take the grandfather paradox, beat it bloody, bend it over a chair, and go furry pr0n on it, thus negating most time travel science fiction plots.

Anyways, Frog > you.

Er, derp?  Luminaire is useful in a lot of spots, triple techs as well, plus magus is just fun.  Besides, Lavos is never really hard ;P
