Just bought a second ago and it's installing as I type. Graphically it's pretty gorgeous, and if the gameplay is anything like 2 and 3 it will be amazing. Anyone else pick up a PS3 copy that would be up for some bouts online? It seems that most people got the 360 version, so I may have to search hard for a match :p Too bad it doesn't have the awesome Chronicle of the Sword from two.

You're kidding me.

Snake is whoring himself out.

It's custom characters from the character creator Karth.

Also does that mean Yoda has a Dagobah map or something in the 360 one?
Somehow giant tits are not onscreen. :o

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it's a stage from The Force Unleashed, so both games got it to promote the game.
Yea. I'm buying SC4 and a PS3 probably this weekend.
If I do pick it up, it will definitely be for the PS3.
ahhh i think i'll be picking this up for the PS3 sometime this week
I heard that whichever one you buy, the character that is exclusive to the other system's port will be available as dlc. Dlc you'll have to pay for, but dlc none the less.
I'll be playing it all day tomorrow.

That's something I really like about the consoles... being nickle and dimed for every little scrap of extra content...

That's been said since they announced it and it was also stated in an article some time ago. So I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.

Well, it's the trade off for an upgrade that costs a month of waiting and hassle due to broken parts, inability to easily diagnose hardware problems without a slew of spare hardware, and slow shipping. Tongue

Yeah, Namco's confirmed that Vader/Yoda and some costumes from Soul Caliber 2 are coming as DLC eventually.
This game pisses me off.  First, they get rid or the actual store so now you have to create a character every time you want to buy a new item.  And second, now clothing/armor determines your stats?  Its kind of hard to make a bad ass looking character but then his stats aren't too good because you didn't pick the best items possible.  Why couldn't you just level up like last time and get points that way.

Oh yeah, and the whole "Mimic another fighters moves" in the create a character is just lame.  I would rather have the generic moveset than to just be a clone.

I have to agree with you on the store front and the lack of the generic movesets. But I don't the stats don't really matter unless you're playing in the special mode with skills, which is almost never. My big beef with it is the gimped singleplayer. I still love the game, but I kind of feel like it's an incomplete product.
I got it(ps3), I hate playing against the apprentice as mitsurugi
I got it on day one and they gave me 2 giant stickers, which look exactly the same except one is made out of rubber/plastic and the other is just a regular sticker. where the fuck do they expect me to put it!

I also suck at this game so if you want higher self-esteem, play against me.
Also, are there bad endings and good endings in this?  I beat the story mode with Raphael on normal and it gave such a shitty ending.  Please tell me playing on a harder difficulty yields a different ending
I used to be pretty decent at this so hopefully I can pick it back up quickly.
