Dumbest idea ever. I'm a bit of an all-around gamer (I love board games, but I don't have anyone to really play with, more on that in a bit). Sure, I play TF2 like people smoke crack, but sometimes I'd rather sit down to a game of Catan over vehemently proclaiming how much this map sucks.

So, my area is pretty devoid of board gamers. A lot of CCG players (most of the Magic variety) are here though, so I tend to focus on that. Occasionally I catch myself thinking of various systems to base the deckbuilding gimmick around, and then it came to me.

Make a card game about brbuninstalling (or about FPSes in general that aren't Call of Duty. :V).

The goal is simple. Make your opposing team ragequit, through sheer domination or by the game's goals (scoring the intel, etc). You start out with a team of players (probably 8), each with their own rage meter. You assign them classes, send them out to score, and try to get each and every player to ragequit out of the game. I've been trying to figure out how the player cards would work (and what effects would represent every card), but I've thought up some actions for all the various classes out there.

So yeah, stupid idea, but I don't want to forget it so I'm posting it here to be critiqued/looked over and ignored.

EDIT: Oh hey, I guess to justify this more, I'm thinking more along the lines of Dvorak in terms of where I'm coming from. Not so much collectible as it is just making up shit and working it into a system.
wat?

FPS games and card games don't really like each other.

Semi-serious - Take 2

If you want to be taken seriously, never invoke John Dvorak.

Serious - Take 3

For a community of <300, it is far to early to navelgaze to this degree. You need a much larger group for meta-jokes (or meta-meta-jokes) to work. Otherwise, it's just another...

Ironically, there's a Munchkin card called 'Contemplate your Navel' out there, to remain on topic. :V
