I'm just wondering if anyone has any good headsets that they could recommend. I'm looking for something with ear pads, good mic/sound quality and wireless would be a huge bonus, but it has to be USB. Price isn't a concern here, I'm just looking for a really good headset.
Just go to Best Buy.  You can get a decent headset for $20.
Yeah, a decent one goes for about that much.  However, he did say he wants a really good headset.  I got a lil' logitech one for 25 bucks or so a while ago.  It serves me well since it's cushion-y and I can literally use it for hours.  Not super dooper surround sound quality, but great mic.  And USB of course.

So yeah, I know of decent headset, wouldn't know much about super ones though.

Budr

I like my Turtle Beach HPA2 headset.
i'm searching for a 4$ one =D, anyone knows if there are any?

I'm sure it's terrible, but there you go.  Snoop around on Newegg, there are some more acceptable ones for pretty cheap.

Lol, the shipping is 3x as much as the headphones. Also, aren't you in Chile or something like that Vongore? Most of the places us Americans are used to shopping won't cut it for you. Hell, they won't even work for Canadians. Try buying something midrange from some Hong-Kong reseller.

Yeah, but i was asking any brand that is cheap and good.. Last year a bought a corean hedset that worked.. only that it didn't came with a mic Sad, there was the hloe for the mic, but no mic on it
Medusa 5.1s -- These are what I plan on getting when I give away my current headset.

SteelSeries 3H -- This is what I used to use, and is my favourite headset evar; it lacks bass, which can be a good thing or a bad thing I suppose. I hear the 5H v2s are amazing too and have a lot more bass, plus it comes with a usb soundcard.
I just use the stereo array mic that came with my mobo (sits on top of my monitor) + some aiwa earmuff headphones that caff & i both bought like 10 years ago. Mine are still good, but I'm almost positive he's destroyed his.
Siberia Icemats.  Apparnetly they are pretty popular for gaming.  Good sound, clip on mic.  You can detach it and use them as normal headphones too.

Very nice, and very sturdy construction.  The earpads are velvet too Big Grin

And they are pretty "cheap" too.  Got mine for around $60-$70
I liked my Siberia, but the clipon mic was pretty shit.

It's done me well Smile

Well, I don't use it alot though.  And it does feel flimsy compaired to the rest of the headset.

i got 2 amazing headsets for free. NCSoft has a promotion going on, If you bought Tabula Rasa or just preordered it, you got a free (GOOD) headset. However, no one ever bought the game so we started giving them out to everyone at my work, so I took 2 of them. If you go to Gamestop/Eb Games they might have some kicking around somewhere so just go and ask.

If you've got a spare closet where i can sleep (and hide from the police). Sure, why not?
necroing a thread instead of making a new one. Same question, I'm finally replacing my mic and decding to get an actual headset this time around. Any suggestion, not to stingy, but +$20 seems a little much. Any tips?
If you go to a local best buy you can probably get a decent logitech one for 20-something dollars.
