Be Right Back, Uninstalling

Today starts out our newest event.  Plenty of us already had copies, and quite a few *obtained some legitimitely*.  We'll start at 8:00 P.M.  EST.

To join log on to Hamachi, we created a group though I forget the details.  Then just open up Supreme Commander and join a TCP/IP game.  VERY IMPORTANT- Make sure you've updated to version 3280.  The updates take about 30 minutes to install. 

I suggest that we break up into groups of four to keep lag managable.  If this runs well maybe next week we can expand to more people.  Leave your name in the comments if you plan to come so I know how many to expect.

I'd love to be there, but I dunno how Hamachi works. Also, I dunno how good you guys are at it, so I think I'll wait until some other time.

Oh, and make a demo file if you can.

Yah, so is dave. You'll definitely be able to join a nub match. Maybe even have a nub teammate. Hamachi isn't very hard to setup, get on that, if you got questions I'll have answers.  :-*

I've downloaded Hamachi, now I dunno what to do from here.

Edit: ugh, Onyyx just told me this is going to be taking place at one in the morning here in England. I can never get to any of the good events. >

Events should be planned in UTC for clarity. Fact.

I don't know why they need to be so late anyway, 11 or 12 GMT seems a bit more like a reasonable compromise.

We could push it forward to 7 P.M. EST, bu any earlier and I won't be able to make it.

Won't be there, and probably not anytime soon unless we manage to convince all you young padwans to pony up for the FA expansion and organize something through GPGnet  ;D

I bought the game once, I'm not buying it again :-\

Completely forgot, and by now it'll take me an hour or two to find my discs, install, and patch up. Maybe next sunday if I'm not working :/
