This thursday brings a fresh selection of Mods, since the classics are dangerously close to being overplayed.

Iron Grip: The Opression

The game mechanics of Zombie Master (top down RTS vs. team based FPS) is the outlining game mechanics for Iron Grip. Set in a WW2 Steampunk universe however. The graphics look well done, and the RTS mechanic feels like it's been put together a lot better than in Zombie Master.

Science & Industry 2
The Classic HL1 mod is updated for the HL2 engine. Havn't played or heard much about this mod save for FlyingMongoose badgering me into adding it to the list Tongue here ya go.

Stargate TC2
While we all wait for the Stargate game to come out, a team has released their take on Stargate with this mod. As true to the Stargate world, you're either fighting with the Tau'ri, Goa'uld, Wraiths etc. using the classic weaponry. This mod looks like it's just out there to act as filler for the actual Stargate Game IMO.

Modular Combat 1.5
Modular Combat has been updated as recently as today with some new upgrades & classes. May have been an improvement, who knows?

Paleolithic Revolution
Two cro-magnon teams battle CTF and DM style with rocks and bones (read: throwing prehistoric women by their hair) I think the graphics are polished, and the mod ought to be good for a few lulz.

none of the above.  I'm against any mod that doesn't involve pirates and vikings (i can give a shit about knights).

If that's the case I change my vote to Iron Grip.

Also, Iron Grip cuz it sounds gud.
Proof SI2 isn't that good, and further proof that games should at least be playtested for tolerability before being thrown up for TNMN vote:

Updates look at top post.
After much internal debate I chose modular combat, but if Iron Grip wins I'm very happy as well.
I switched to Iron Grip.  Zombie Master that's actually good?  HELL YEAH!
i'll play anything that has lasers on it. any clue?

[/quote]a majority of the people couldn't connect to our server because it wasn't showing up on the server list and when you tried to join it by joining the server and launching the game through steam it said you didn't have the mod
The mod was also REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY buggy.
I remember playing Iron Grip once.
I couldn't find a single goddamn person in the entire game
