i want a game where you use a sword and shield in the middle of a massive war, like star wars battlefronts, but in medieval times.
suggestions please?

would prefer not, but if its on an epic scale and im not stupidly overpowered im good
( i never play jedi in swbf2, and i only play it on hard.)
Have you tried Dynasty Warriors? A lot of people write it off as mindless hack and slash but I find it to be pretty enjoyable (and see nothing wrong with a bit of mindless hack n slash). They made another game that's basically the same with gundams too.

You do know that there is a Lord of the Rings game that is coming out and it is in the Battlefront style.

What you're looking for sounds like a MMO, just first-person (or perhaps even third person), and with a sword/shield on a huge battlefield zerging into the enemy armies.
... I doubt there is a game that got all of those qualities. If there was, or will be, I'm getting it. <3

if i wasnt dumb as a plank i would mod starwars battlefronts into this, they have the netcode and npc behavior down in armies of up to 300 on screen
its rediculous.
