Ya know that one time when you got an invite from someone you didn't even know?

I've got at least 5 or 6 of those in the last week.

Is Karth really that popular of a name?

I've also gotten a few group invitations that don't relate to me in ANY way what-so-ever.

for example: KiFFERSTUEBCHEN (.de)

Any random invites you've had lately?

If I don't remember it as a name I saw in game, I decline.  Shrug.  Group invites are even more likely to be declined.

Kifer is a gianormous multi-gaming guild/organization, I had an invite from someone there too at some point. Which reminds me i need to get goose to give me an invite to the uber exclusive server owners/operators group
