Ok.

So Spore is coming out soon(a couple days soon to be more precise) and I want it.

On the contrary, I also need to upgrade my computer soon. (About $200-$300) That's a lot of money to me.

Should I go ahead and get spore? or should I save my money first for new components?

upgrade your PC and torrent Spore, if it is worth it save more and buy it.

I still think Spore is a fancy Civilization rip-off

From what I've heard Spore will run well on even a low end PC, so I if you're really hyped for it, by all means buy it!

My first impression was that out Spore was coming out to visit you and you needed money to treat him to a nice time.

I couldn't find a nice Civilization 4 video, but everyone who had play the game will notice the game looks very similiar. Even the Menus are alike!

Im no angel but treating EA like its a single evil person is kinda wrong, this coming from an ea sports slave

EA is nowhere near as bad as it used to be, only because they don't actually make any good games, they just try to buy everybody who does and publishes good games. Except Dead Space does look amazing.
