Time to move on to something other than driving tanks

This week will be doing a MAX CRASH, this involves everyone getting into big ass power armor and storming a base. Other alternatives for this also involve putting everyone in AA maxes and watching aircraft die very very fast. In order to get a better idea of what a max crash is check out this (short) article. This is one of those things you never, ever want to be on the receiving end of, it makes infantry shit themselves.

Also as you run in, it is REQUIRED that you spam the voice macro "Incomming MAX Units!" (VWM) constantly.

As always the more people the better, you really can't have a max crash with only 6 - 8 people, I know a lot more people in the original PS Saturdays thread expressed interest, get off your lazy ass and come play.

Recommended Settings:

Bind a Key (Mouse 3, 4, or 5) in the MAX Unit settings of keyboard to 'activate special ability' for the jump jets


Required Certs:

Uni-Max (6 Points)

Recommended Extra Certs:
Any Vehicle that can carry 2 people or more
Engineering (3)

Time: 7pm cst

Ventrilo is mandatory

Fun in this game increases exponentially with the more people that join up so I hope to see more of the people that stated they were interested in the initial thread to come out, the game is FREE, but you are restricted to BR6. If you get "suspended" or banned since the trial accounts are loopholes just make another one. Conversely you can spend $20 to pick up the game at direct2drive, which comes with a free month, this removes the restriction on your battlerank.

Lol, that sounds like one of the most annoying things ever that probably shoulda been patched at some point or another   I assume a max is basically a quick anti infantry unit that takes little damage from lower end infantry weapons and thus can streak into a base right past enemy infantry and will then proper fuck everything up?

No, you can run fast (like 30 KPH) but you cant fire your weapon or turn well, you have a fuck ton of armor, but only one weapon designed to kill one thing (Air, Infantry, or Vehicles/Other Maxes). Its actually pretty well balanced, you have like a 3 - 5 min timer after acquiring a max suit before you can get another, and infantry have a lot of weapons that just eat you alive indoors or outdoors.

Its the mass attack and focus on a single thing that makes max crashes deadly.

So speed an tunnel vision.  Scout Rush GOGOGOOGOGO.  Makes me wish I had PS and more time

Ug, it's the 9pm on a Saturday that gets me. :S

I do want to get through the rest of my training, and will definitely put in some time on Saturday. Maybe not in the evening though, but we'll see.

a medkit is a good idea too, but doesn't leave much room for glue.

FYI, I don't have advanced medic on my infil any more, though rezzing people while cloaked FREAKS THE SHIT out of enemies.

just make a nub character and give them infil suit, engi, and/or adv. medic.

A NON-INFIL ENGI/ADV. MEDIC IS FINE TOO

Can you drop/trade items?  MAX suits should be usable as mobile trunks =X.

Yes you can in fact, often when max units are going to be used in things like generator holds, one brings extra glue/health ammo as well as sometimes ammo for infantry weapons.

Okay, made "Krabbala" and put them to BR 5 for Sat.

My friend has a max he calls his vending machine for this exact purpose.  Maxes make excellent vending machines.  Especially VS as we can fly.
