Who are you voting for, or who would you vote for if you could vote.  You can leave it anonymous or share your thoughts.  Not intended as a huge debate, I'm just wondering.
Probably going to write in Ron Paul, though I may listen to him and make my vote count (lol, fat chance of that in Texas). If I do vote for realz, I'll have to ACTUALLY look into platforms before hopping on the bandwagon, but I'm guessing that'll likely result in a vote for Obama.

Until they get rid of the electoral college I will continue to not vote.

Reason 1:  It is pointless to vote in IL when 95% of the vote turns out for democrat.  So eitherway your vote is meaningless.

Reason 2:  Al Gore not becomming president despite winning the popular vote is a good sign that there is something wrong.

I could go on about how I feel the Electoral college fucks everything up but thats neither here nor there.  So I am not going to vote.

"My fellow Americans. As a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball, but tonight I say, we must move forward, not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom."

"Abortions for all.
Crowd: BOOOOO!
Very well....no abortions for anyone.
Crowd: BOOOOOO!
Hmm...Abortions for some, miniature American flags for others
Crowd: YAAAAAY!"

Dole and Klinton '08!
A few pictures from the speech I was at in Lancaster, PA about 3 hours ago.

I suggest you look into Obama's Vice Prez and his policies surrounding net-neutrality and the like before you cast your vote for him.

Me..I'm writing in Ron Paul.
They don't let me vote.

No matter who gets voted into office Net Neutrality isn't going away. Congress and the FCC have already made that clear, and I highyl doubt that its on the top of the list of the VP's agenda to attempt to push through congress.

The US doesn't control the internet, you try charging tiered access or restricting access not only will the rest of the world be up in a tizzy e-commerce will grind to a halt.

Yeah I really personally don't think this needs to be here, and not just because I don't (wouldn't) vote. It just leads to crap.

Yeas, but politicians aren't that bright. You've gotta remember that being a politician is a job now..no one does it as a volunteer anymore..they don't give a shit about the common man..they'll do whatever the fuck big business tells them too.

I'll go ahead and say it, too. American Government is fucked up and it just keeps getting worse.
We were for Ron Paul but now it is going to be McCain because he is gung ho Navy so good for us. Big Grin

Heh, prepare for a full on attack by Caff and the other Obama supporters XP
I know still, I am not attacking them so I hope they return the favor. In the end I am a moderate so I go both ways (wink wink) both candidates have something to offer.
If i was american, i'd vote for Obama. we had to do a full analisys on both Obama and McCain's campaign for college

and Obama won :0
